Please provide your WP admin details in a private reply so we can review your settings. Thanks.
February 20, 2017 at 10:15 pm in reply to: Map Not Showing After Plugin Deactivation / Activation #362747If you change theme, you have to redo the widgets. Did you do that?
Can you send us admin details in a private reply to check your settings and data?
Thanks. The Publish button is in the backend, in the sidebar. See image.
Which image is too big? Which listing?
If you mean on the Listings page, that the top and bottom are trimmed, that is because the image is square, and the “box” to show the image is rectangular, so it resizes the image to the width and does not display the top and bottom. The image is always shown in full on the detail page.If you select NO for the any of the options (Send to friend, Send enquiry, Expire listings, and so on), does admin still get a copy of the email sent to the user?
These settings are only for the admin notification, Send to friend, Send enquiry, Expire listings, and so on emails will always be sent to the user or the visitor’s friend. That would not be a GD option.
You can turn off submissions from the frontend at GD > Design > Navigation > allow post type from frontend, so only admins can add listings from the backend. Thanks
You’re welcome 🙂
Here is a trick for you:
1. Set the “special offers” field to be admin only: GD > Place Settings > Special offers
2. Filter the popular post widget on your homepage by special offers only
3. Add anything to the special offers field for the listings you want to show on the front page. Thanks
Please review https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-search/
Let us know if that solves your query.
Thanks. All I can think of is to link direct to the listing, then they can click on the Claim button.
The link you suggest only works if logged in already. Thanks
Social login by-passes captcha because it already provides a check.
Email confirmation is also not required.I would just delete those unconfirmed users, they are all spammers, look at the email addresses.
Please check in another browser to see that logging in does not work.
Make sure we can log in to check things. ThanksMenu settings are the same for all themes, and installation is not part of your membership.
All the links gave you the steps, but I have done the following:1. Added an active listing in Events to activate the CPT dropdown in search.
2. Changed the title of “GD Home Page” to “Home”, so that changes the first link in the menu.
3. Added the other links to the main menu as per image attached.
February 20, 2017 at 9:54 am in reply to: Pagination Error – Shows all on home but not in category #362603This reply has been marked as private.Hi, have a look at https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-search/ especially point 4.
Thanks.Users will be pending if they have not clicked the activation link in their confirmation email.
All users will indeed have a Buddypress profile automatically.
Make sure you use the GD recaptcha addon so at least you can keep spam registrations to a minimum.
I hope that answered your questions. Thanks.
