Some steps and screenshots in the video are for older versions of GD, please also review the rest of the article.
Happy New Year to you too 🙂
It depends a bit what you want to change. Most of it can be changed just within the settings instead of changing actual files.
The category, address, phone, email, etc is added there because the selections made at GD > Place Settings > Custom fields.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-place-settings/#customWe provide many hooks and filters that can provide lots of customization options without having to replace templates (this is the preferred way) but If you want to customize them in any way, just follow these steps: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-geodirectory-templates/
To set the GD Start page as the home page of your website,, review https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/#home
Let us know if you still have any other questions.
Thanks

Happy New year !
That seems correct. Did you upload the geodirectory-it_IT.mo file to the correct location?
Either
/wp-content/languages/plugins
or
/wp-content/languages/geodirectoryCan you post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply please.
I’ll get Stiofan to have a look for you.Can you download the latest version from https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/members/sailmen/downloads
Then you can update using FTP.1) See https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/faqs/how-do-i-change-place-and-places/
2) I am not sure I understand correctly, but if you add the carer’s email address in the email custom field, a contact form will automatically be created like on this page; look for the “send enquiry” in the sidebar: https://wpgeo.directory/hotels/new-york/5-stars/crosby-street-hotel/
3) Have a look at https://wpgeodirectory.com/formidable-forms-in-geodirectory-tabs/
You might be able to adapt that for your second question too, but again, I am not sure I understand correctly.I’ll get Paolo to have a look at your questions too.
Happy New Year to you too !
The search page itself is not a WP page so it cannot be translated like other WP pages, and the location, add listing etc pages.
So when switching language while on the search page, it does not know where to go, and reverts to the normal WP search page, instead of the GD search page in the other language.I’ll get one of the developers to have a look at this after the weekend, to see if it can be fixed.
Thanks for your patience and a happy new year 🙂I don’t think that is possible, but let’s ask the others too.
You might have to wait until after the weekend though, thanks for your patience and a happy new year!December 31, 2016 at 1:59 pm in reply to: LOCATION MANAGER: 'Multilocations' does not appear on the geodirectory menu #334202Permalinks were not set correctly: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/#postnames
I replaced the core GD plugin, it seemed corrupted.
Please check now.You have hard-coded that link in the header.php file of your theme.
I changed it.If you want visitors to review without having to be logged in, have a look at your WP Settings > discussion, and UN-tick “Users must be registered and logged in to comment”.
We strongly recommend to use the GD Recaptcha addon then and add the recaptcha to “GeoDirectory Comments”.
To make sure you always load the secure version of your site add this to the top of your .htaccess file:
RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{SERVER_PORT} 80 RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://meetupforcoffee.com/$1 [R,L]Happy New Year 🙂

Users can add photos to listings.
Supreme features fixed large maps on category and search pages, so is best where listings on the maps are the main game.
Directory Starter, the GeoDirectory and Genesis themes are more like standard themes and are more flexible to tweak the designs.
All of the above, except the Genesis themes, are made right here and are therefore guaranteed to be compatible with GD at all times.
But you can use GD with most current themes, you are not limited to any of the above.
I hope that helps a bit.
Can you post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply, then we can have a look at your settings.
