After updating the child theme (Bug, There was no indication that anything needed updating at all. Instead of seeing the message that all plugins and themes are up to date I should see the message that one theme needs updating), the situation is now even worse. I see no option at all to claim a listing

I’m sorry Stiofan but that is just not good enough. I’m not lookiong for hooks for adding listings and you have no documentation for the hooks and filters I am trying to find. I think you are not understanding my requirement
I do not want help customising the site, I am perfectly capable of writing code even if I have to learn yet another language to do it.
At this stage I would like to ask for the documentation on the hook that is fired when a place changes the package it belongs to. If this does not exist (I can’t tell because your documentation doesn’t exist yet) or a new hook to be written that will enable me to write some code that is triggered every time a place changes the package it belongs to.
In your promotional bumpf, you state that pretty much anything can be customised, you state that there is good documentation and you state that if a facility doesn’t exist then you will create it.
If this was the case this discussion would not be happening.
Thanks
?
Hi Stiofan,
I’m still very unclear as to how to proceed with this. If you could provide me with some more pointers I would be very grateful.
What hooks/filters would be appropriate to use to catch the time when I need to intercept the events add page.
Or to change a users role if I choose to go down that routeHi Stiofan, just wondering if you could provide me with some insight as to the best approach to achieve this requirement?
I would need to check if the user owns a place listing and that the place listing belongs to a paid for package in order to allow an event to be created. Would love to hear suggestions on the best way to approach this. Paulo indicated that this would not really be an option hence my thinking about using user roles and capabilities
Thank’s Paulo,
I look forward to a response. I’m hoping that there will be a way I can change a users roll every time a place changes the package it belongs to based on the package it belongs toPossibly using a hook or filter, the trouble is you have absolutely no docuentation for events, hooks etc… https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/codex_project/geodirectory-payment-manager/ all show “This function has not been documented yet” or words to that effect so I’m stumbling around in the dark
Would it be possible to update a users role when they “purchase” or subscribe to a paid for option?
I could maybe manage this through user roles if this is possible
Hi Stiofan,
I added the function to the 404.php but nothing happened? I just got a blank page when viewing it on front end.
Cheers,
Paul.
