You got it Alex!
To change the default location GD – Settings – Locations (tab) – Cities (subtab), and check the radio button for the default city. This will change the default Region and Country automatically too.
Thanks.June 10, 2019 at 4:55 pm in reply to: Suggestion: add class "required" to required fields on add listing #492063Thank you, Paolo. I didn’t realize there was already a required class attribute, but at the row level, that’s why I suggested one to be created and put “Suggestion:” in the topic’s subject.
Thanks again.June 10, 2019 at 4:32 pm in reply to: Suggestion: add class "required" to required fields on add listing #492056That styles all labels and input, Paolo, not just the required ones as mentioned.
If you can’t understand the suggestion is only about *required fields*, it’d be nicer to ask, rather than keep saying I am suggesting things that are NOT needed.
Thanks.
June 10, 2019 at 4:17 pm in reply to: Suggestion: add class "required" to required fields on add listing #492051Thanks Paolo. We thought it would be easier for everyone to style all required elements at once and not individually.
We’ll prefix all suggestions with “Suggestion:” to make it clearer because “please add a class to required label and form fields” is not “telling us to add something that is NOT needed”.
Thanks again. Can you please add “making the form work in any page it’s in” to the list of suggestions for improvement?

June 10, 2019 at 6:55 am in reply to: Suggestion: add class "required" to required fields on add listing #491907Hi Kor.
We are trying to style <input>s and <label>s that are required in the add listing form. Adding CSS classes to custom fields don’t work, because they don’t appear in the source code of the add listing form.June 10, 2019 at 6:52 am in reply to: How to change the default city, region, country on the add listing form? #491905This reply has been marked as private.Hi Kor,
I forgot to update this post. We figure it out by using the “Fieldset (section separator)” fields. Thanks for thinking about this upfront and including this option for us!June 10, 2019 at 6:30 am in reply to: How to change the default city, region, country on the add listing form? #491896We also don’t want to merge locations, just setup a default new location for the add listing form. It’s currently set to be Philadelphia USA and if we want to set it to Berlin, Germany, merging those two locations doesn’t make sense.
Thanks.June 10, 2019 at 5:45 am in reply to: How to change the default city, region, country on the add listing form? #491884The entire point #2. There isn’t any option to merge or select the current default location anywhere on the interface.
We found a workaround, thank you. Please mark it as solved.
