Bug: GD Add Listing Widget is added as a column on Elementor

    The GD > Add Listing widget is incorrectly configured on elementor and is being added as a column.

    Screenshots:
    1. GD > Listing, correctly added a widget.
    2. GD > Add Listing, incorrectly added as column.

    All widgets should be added as widgets, and GD > Add Listing is the only widget with this problem so far.

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Drag a GD > Add listing to any elementor page and elementor will see it as a new column, not as a widget.

    We tried adding it as a shortcode
    [gd_add_listing post_type=”gd_place” show_login=”1″]

    But the generated HTML is exactly the same and it is shown as a column not a widget. This is an annoying bug because we can’t add any other element to the page without the layout breaking.

    I have confirmed this on my test site. We will take a look at how to fix that.

    Hi Directory,

    It converts as a column type when [gd_add_listing] as a shortcode. Please try adding [gd_add_listing] as a widget(see attachment).

    We have replicated similar issue on my test site but later found that element added before [gd_add_listing] was column type. So it also add element_type=”column” to [gd_add_listing]. We have fixed it on our test site.

    If you do not want to provide admin credentials of live site then you can provide us staging site details.

    We do not have any settings to code related elementor element type. Elementor assigns its own.
