Class on “css class” field is not being added.

    Steps:
    1. Places > Settings > Custom fields > Address > Css class > “blabla”
    2. Open page containing gd add listing, and “blabla” is not in the source code.

That would be because the custom field is not shown on the Add Listing page, but only the data for the field.
CSS classes are only used where the final field is displayed.
    Thanks

We don’t have any custom fields and all of them are shown in the add listing page. Adresss, phone, website…etc., and the CSS class doesn’t show there in the gd add listing widget html.

Can you explain what you mean with the “gd add listing widget”?

You can only add data to the fields on the Add Listing page.
The output of the fields is only ever on other pages like the detail and categories pages.
CSS is only used in the output.

Correct, there’s no use for it because there’s no fields requiring styling.
Try reading my previous answers again.
The fields are not “used” (displayed) on the Add Listing page. You can only add data.
    Thanks

Adding a class to the input field so we can style it is what we’re trying to do. To reiterate, we want to add a class to the input, or div or span that contains the input tag.

You can’t style fields on the Add Listing page. Only on all other pages.
There is no point styling a textarea or drop down etc.

We found a workaround, thank you. Please mark it as solved.

There is no need for any workaround, Each field already has both a class and an ID.

    Thanks
