June 10, 2019 at 4:23 am in reply to: How to change the default city, region, country on the add listing form? #491879
Can I please have precise instructions on “How to change the default city, region, country on the add listing form?”
There is no point styling a textarea or drop down etc.
Can I please get someone else to reply to this topic?
Adding a class to the input field so we can style it is what we’re trying to do. To reiterate, we want to add a class to the input, or div or span that contains the input tag.

Thanks for the quick reply. This reply has been marked as private. We don’t have any custom fields and all of them are shown in the add listing page. Adresss, phone, website…etc., and the CSS class doesn’t show there in the gd add listing widget html.
Found the problem. Client side validation and Address autocomplete only work on the GD Add Listing form that is in the page set on GD > General > Add listing page.
If you do the steps mentioned above, and create a new page, but don’t set it as “the” Add listing page, then nothing works. This is a bug because we’d like to create different Add Listing pages for different CPT (e.g. one for Places, another one for Events).
The solution is to include the javascript to any pages with GD Add Listing. It’s currently set to only be included on pages set on GD > General > Add listing

GD > Categories widget in a location page shows ALL categories, for all listings.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a page a location page on elementor.
2. Drag a GD > category Widget. I haven’t tested with the shortcode. There is no option to filter by location on the widget, but I assume this is the default behavior.
3. Set the new Location page as the default location on GD Settings.
4. Click the near me button.
5. It should show only the locations of the listings in your area, but it shows all locations regardless.Using v61, and it wasn’t working on v59 either.

The shortcode worked. In case there are more than 10 listings returned, how should we do pagination? There were 6 listings around us, we set the post_limit to 2 and added a GD > Loop Paging, but pagination didn’t show. Would the GD > Listing widget with “Enable Location Filter” also work for the next release?
Thanks for adding the parameter to rating. Looking forward to the update.
Categories are still not working. We a 1-1 associating between categories and listings, and there are 6 listings around us. 6 Categories should appear, but we get all 30+.
