Thank you for the images. It will be in my ultimate “to-do” list.
Thought inputs were HTML, not text.I am attaching an image of what my widget looks like. Frankly, I checked EVERYTHING because I wasn’t sure what was causing the disparity between the two maps!
But what I have in attached image is still showing map with countrywide extent, unlike the one that appears under the Map Tab.
What do I need to change?
Thanks.
What I hoped to find was an add_action or add_filter that could put the Slogan as sort of a sub-title to the Title (Company Name, whatever you want to call it.)
Could you tell me what add_action or add_filter I need to do this?
I have been trying with
“You can use hook ‘geodir_details_main_content’ with order 31 to add content under the listing title.”but the results end up just above the tabs, not under the title.
Can you advise?
Thanks.
Sorry…please ignore the question I initially asked.
The decision was made to hide ALL the categories, so I don’t need CSS to format them.
Sorry to waste your time.

I used CSS to remove the link on a picture and on the title.
Solution:
li.geodir-listview.gd-post-gd_place.geodir-listview div.geodir-post-img a {pointer-events: none; }
li.geodir-listview.gd-post-gd_place.geodir-listview h3.geodir-entry-title{pointer-events: none;}Decided (probably for same reason you left the big white square for the image yourselves — what with the various grid formatting possibilities in the dropdown) NOT to remove the image entirely.
However, can you tell me what code file would contain the image if I still want to play with it outside of CSS. If I use CSS to display:none an image…the image still has to load, right?
Currently, I am using your Supreme theme. I have placed my CSS stylesheet within supreme-directory > geodirectory.
Do I understand correctly that if supreme-directory is updated, this stylesheet is SAFE?
Also…if I want to alter something within the supreme-directory > inc directory…how would I include that properly within the supreme-directory > geodirectory (Safe?) folder.
Would I create another inc directory and just copy php file in there?
Am used to a traditional child theme that does NOT get updated, so would appreciate your coaching on this unusual situation.
Thanks!
Thanks for your answer and ready willingness to help me find my problem.
After another laborious day, I finally solved it. I may be importing more and didn’t want to bother you each time.
A hopefully constructive comment follows…
Strategically — for you — would think an error log would be standard procedure.
You’ve looped through each record being imported.
You’ve come up with the report’s group count of these items — and descriptions of the problems encountered — during this process.
A simple entry into a log file would at least give GeoDirectory users a place to LOOK when importing many, many, many records.
This would be strategic for lessening user frustrations — and increasing their satisfaction with your product.
Perhaps this might be a facility provided for premium users?
You wouldn’t be responsible for FIXING the problem, only reporting it.
As I said, my problem is solved…but bet lots who would enjoy using your product are sighing and going elsewhere.
Sorry, forgot to mention…we’re currently using Supreme Theme. (Rhymes…)
