Map is different on Details page

    On this Details page, I have two maps.
    One is under the the Tab. It looks fine.
    The other map — in the sidebar — I had removed and then added back via Widgets. It shows the entire country.

    Since it is a single detail, I hoped the sidebar map would be like the one under tabs.

    Can you give me a clue what I need to change? Presume that would be options in the widget?

    Hello,

    you can check the settings for the Widget and make sure auto-zoom is selected.

    I am attaching an image of what my widget looks like. Frankly, I checked EVERYTHING because I wasn’t sure what was causing the disparity between the two maps!

    But what I have in attached image is still showing map with countrywide extent, unlike the one that appears under the Map Tab.

    What do I need to change?

    There is a 500 error on the site.

    do you still need any help with the map widget on the sidebar for the detail page? Let me know if you do, please.

    About your follow up post:

    When you make a new topic, it is public, but the additional replies you make can be set to private.

    It sounds like you are editing the theme files. The changes will be overwritten when the theme is updated. You can use a plugin like Code Snippets to save your changes and avoid overwriting them.
