January 2, 2015 at 8:52 pm in reply to: Calendar Widget and Latest Places Not Fitting in Divi Sidebar #26144
Thanks that worked great for the calendar.
I’m going without reviews for now so I’ll deal with the “rating stars” not scaling down enough in the gridview sidebar(as seen in my first screenshot)
Also there was issue with the thumbnail for the latest places in gridview in the sidebar i just noticed. The thumbnail wouldn’t scale down properly when the browser window was shrunk partially.
Should be incorporated into the Divi Comp Pack maybe?
The code I used to fix was
.geodir_category_list_view li.geodir-gridview .geodir-post-img .geodir_thumbnail { max-width: 100%; }
Okay thanks guys
Glad it was that simple, I forgot I had installed that. Thanks for your help
I also tried the “restore virtual pages” thing and it didn’t help
This reply has been marked as private.never mind i had an extra character in there, it extends it full width, but the page background that shows where the sidebar will start is still there unfortunately. A vertical line that goes right through the content.
Sorry I’m pretty new at this, where should I place that css?
.single-gd_place #main-content-with-sidebar { width: 930px; }
I tried in the “custom css” box of my theme, in the style.css sheet and an rtl.css sheet and none of them did anything.
follow up on this. How do I give a link for paid “level 3” members for example(using s2member) to a “level 3” add-listing page that only displays that one level of add-listing form. By default it shows the options someone can sign up for, is there a way to hide the options? I hope that makes sense.
I want there to be only 1 viewable option per s2member level. possible?
Yea i understand, it’s not a popular theme. Maybe I will take a look at the GDF
Okay thanks for your help, I’ll see if I can figure out a solution. I don’t have money to hire but thanks.
I’m also hesitant with that ‘patch’ solution as you said because Ill end up building on a system that’s not integrating well and spend a bunch of time only to possibly find more issues later. But it’s hard to find a plugin that does everything I need, GD was one of the best I found. Too bad I already invested time and money in my theme or i’d just throw it away and find one that’s more compatible.
September 29, 2014 at 5:45 am in reply to: Can't get rid of theme sidebar on Location & Add listing page #16837It could be a sidebar, or it might just be the virtual page is not displaying at full width. Is there a way to edit the virtual page’s aspects? or to force it to access a page template that is full width?

However, back to the sidebar issue. Something in my theme must be retarded.
The blank sidebars were shown on the virtual pages, I published them, and now they’re fine. However it’s showing up on the listing Details page. Because this isn’t a page I can just publish I’m screwed right?
Yea that’s what I mean. That’s an option, but then I won’t be able to assign different listing levels so it creates an issue there.
That is tragic, it was a main feature I wanted on my page that I thougth was going to be possible. Would that be a simple feature to add? add permissions to create events based on paid listing levels.
