Thanks! The problem turned out to be an error in adding the email account to my gmail.
I did receive the Admin BCC copy, by the way.
Thanks!
Thanks. Removed it via FTP, but would still like to know what the problem was.
I guess I could just go with your original suggestion of manually changing the expiration dates. That should work well enough during our startup period.
Okay. This is definitely an unusual use of your plugin, but here goes:
I want to run a sweepstakes that is open to the public with prizes provided by my clients. I intend to store their prize information inside their business listing. I plan to have periodic drawings and allow clients to decide whether they want to participate or not. This is determined by whether or not they have an active listing at the time of the drawing. So, ideally, I would let them know we’re having a drawing on July 15th, for example, and they would purchase or renew a listing that would expire on July 16th.
As an alternate, I could establish a pattern of regular drawings, like every 2 weeks for example, and they could purchase a listing plan where they’re paying every 2 weeks until they cancel. Establishing a regular pattern like this will be difficult during the startup phase, however.
So the user can only renew if the listing is public? I guess I’ll have to find another solution.
Ok thanks!
As an alternative, I think I will set the listing to expire almost immediately and then disable any automatic notifications. The listing doesn’t need to be public. The information just needs to be available to me. If I manually send a message later asking them to renew, what link should I include in the email?
JohnThanks, but the link you mentioned still shows all active packages with the one specified in the URL selected by default. Would prefer to hide the other packages as well as the words “Select Package”.
Thanks. Seems to be working, although I was getting an error related to licensing for the Stripe addon until I deleted and reinstalled it.
Also discovered that with the wpinv-stripe-payment-1.0.0 installed, my site goes blank. Is this intended to go with the Payment Manager version 1? If not, what should I use?
Thanks!
Thanks for the feedback. UsersWP sounds like a great alternative to Buddypress. The User Roles addon would work for me if the user is able to change their role based on the payment package they select. Ideally, they would select their package before filling out registration fields.
I found I can fix this with custom css:
#geodir_content {width: 98% !important;}
(was 67%)But I’m probably messing up other things.
