I’m looking at boatpnw.com and wondering if wpuser is something I need to enhance the user experience.
You guys gave me that snippet a while back for V1 and its supposed to change the default gravatar image (the silhouette of a guys head) to my wheel image. If there is another way to edit that I’d like to know. I think I saw a default header image, default gravatar setting somewhere, in wpuser no? I’m running this snippet on boatpnw.com, but actually don’t think it works because a user just posted a location and since they haven’t set up gravatar.com, the guys head is loading by default.
better search and replace breaks the site. any recommendations on ssl plugins? My sense is that on a secure site all direct urls should be called out as https, what about .htaccess edit? so a replace is done on the fly.
Ive edited my locations page like this
[gd_notifications][gd_categories][gd_map map_type=’auto’ maptype=”SATELLITE” width=100% height=300 search_filter=1 cat_filter=1 post_type_filter=1][gd_search][gd_listings post_limit=10]
but I don’t get the satellite view at pages like
https://boatpnw.com/places/shelton/latimers-landing
what am I missing?
that should have been code…
img src="http://boatpnw.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/logo.png" alt="Boat PNW" or img src="http://boatpnw.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/anthonysoly.jpg" alt="" width="650" height="265"
Oh I see I have successfully used gravatar.com to edit the default icon which is tied to the author email address for each place.
