    Some suggestion for how to start?
    I guess PHP is the best way… right? I am asking because you know which language will integrate better / easy with GD.
    I only need that: some directions and will search by myself.

    Yep.
    It is taking me much time to catch all the system and structure, but is so cool.
    At the moment just creating the “skeleton” of the site and testing with one – two posts to check what happens. In stock thousands of data waiting to upload once is ready.
    I hope all upload and run well!… (fingercrossed)

    Ok.
    I think I got it.

    It seems the best is to create new page with the content of GD Details, GD Archive and GD Archive Item, and on CPT settings choose them.
    Then customize inside.
    For the custom HTML I added into sidebar showing meta datas for fields… it seems not much problem because when a shortcode for the listing is empty is not showing nothing, and same if I put into HTML shortcodes for fields on places, fields on jobs, etc.
    It seems in jobs is not showing the fields NEITHER THE BLANK SPACE when this field does not exist because is from Places or Events CPT.

    Is that correct?
    Am I passing something over?

    Hello Kiran.

    Now is working. I cleaned my cache of browser.
    I am not technician and with all these caches I did not understand the need of browser cache (neither yet), but… anyway:
    IS WORKING again.

    Hello.
    I cleaned all caches, logged out and in, and this is still giving me the same error of “too many columns”

    Something else to do / fix / check?

    Hello Mr. Rollin.

    A couple of things:

    – I could do the “Click to Reveal” phone using an external plugin only for this purpose: “Show-Hide / Collapse-Expand” By Bunte Giraffe.
    Is quite nice, because it add a block in your Classic Editor and you can add the code as a shortcode, in which I inserted the GD_meta_phone (finally I am starting to understand it and get rid of my pumpers of coding knowledge); then I tested it copying and pasting as custom HTML widget into sidebar and is working well. It permits to create customized shortcodes and then copy-paste in the “expand – view”and also is fast to make expand – view parts of the text.
    – I would suggest the team (because I read somewhere in the forum that this is one possible option for future release) to do something like that… is so cool (in my opinion… maybe your team can do in a even smarter / faster / cleaner way…).

    SO NO MORE SUPPORT NEEDED ABOUT THIS CLICK TO VIEW QUIMERA…(at the moment).

    About the other point… I followed the steps for the snippets and it did not work, but deleted all again, so I will be trying again these days.

    Come on!.

    Again. I reinstalled a couple of things with one backup after your intervention, and now I receive the same “too many columns”.

    GD-tools-clear version, several times, login out and in is not working.
    Could you check it again and let me know why that is happening?

    I reinstalled the site the same “too many columns”.

    I add this to my post because I think is the way, but NOT working.

    I was trying adding a code snippet for “Showing icons instead of category links in list and grid view” (the last topic)
    by following this steps (link is under version 1 section):

    Using code snippets and then CSS added under WP>Customize>Add CSS…

    Nothing happens… the categories are still text and not icons for all my places.

    How could I move forward in Version 2?

    Because the files structure under plugins>geodirectory>templates… seems to have change from V1 to V2 and I want to figure out where to touch for this “click to view”.
