Hi Kiran,
Thank you very much for your response.
I have checked. The packages seem to be ok, but they do not show in the Claim Form and error “This is a required field” appears (tested with CPT “Menjar i beure”).
I look forward to your news.
Thank you very much once again for your help.
Best regards.

Hi,
I see that the sorting documentation page has been updated the 22nd August.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/places/sorting/
However, I am still very confused.
Some questions:
1) What does mean the fourth phrase “Any sorting options that you create will also be available for use with GD Listings.”?
2) With “Package” sorting option, how listings are sorted within each package group of listings? I have the impression that they are randomly sorted.
3) I notice duplicated listings showing in succesive sorting result pages. Some listings show up to three and four times. Why is this happening and how can it be avoided? I am affraid that duplicated listings take the place of other listings that never show across the sorting result pages.
To be frank, I find sorting to be GD weakest feature by far. Setting it up is extremely confusing, I think it does not allow to do very basic things, I am never able to get it to do what I am expecting or I am looking to do, I have been unable to make “Is Featured?” sorting work and so on.
In fact, after many hours spent testing, I reached the conclusion that the only way to make it work in a seemingly logic way is to use the “Manual Sort Order” trick, which is quite nonsense, since it implies a lot of work because it requires manually editing every listing.
Why do not you implement an straighforward and simple to understand and use sorting system like Excel has?
Do you plan to update the GD sorting functionality soon?
I look forward to your reply.
Thank you very much once again for your help.
Best regards.
Hi Kiran,
Thank you very much for your reply.
Ok, I understand. Do you think it would be convenient to implement some more elegant solution like, for example, leaving some space between the header and the map to show perhaps an smaller button?
I do not know how to use that CCS. Could you give some example?
Thank you very much once again for your help.
Best regards.
Hi Kiran,
Thank you very much for your reply.
And, in the same comma separated way, is it now possible to enter more than one value to the “Value to match” field of the shortcode?
I look forward to your reply.
Thank you very much for your help.
Best regards.

Hi Kiran,
Thank you very much for the information.
I do not understand very well what has been updated exactly. My question was “Is it possible to show an specific badge depending of one or more specific categories and / or tags?” What the update allows exactly to do?
I look forward to your reply.
Thank you very much once again for your help.

Thank you very much for your responses.
I would appreciate very much if you could respond to this simple question: is it possible to configure sorting to do what I am looking to achieve or something similar?
I look forward to your reply.
