Dude, I probably tried every combination other than that one. Worked like a charm. Thanks!

Eureka! It worked! Thanks man!

Ah, I think I follow you.
Is there a way I can manipulate the query, then? I know messing with core files can screw things up, but this seems like a pretty good one that maybe I’ll send over for inclusion in a future update! 😉
Yeah, I think you can do it by two parameters… I saw this: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-can-i-order-my-posts-using-multiple-meta-values
Haven’t tested. Thanks!
See attachment.
Is that where you’re talking about? Seems to be set up correctly, although they’re still not alphabetized… sorry!
Sweet. Okay I figured this out.
Instead of adding this to the site, is there a way to disable it entirely? Like, what features do I lose if I disable the whole plugin? Will the search “near” still work?
Thanks Stiofan!
Ah, that may be the issue. Thanks for the feedback. How do I add a location switcher? And what exactly does a location switcher do?
Thanks Stiofan! You sure do reply to a ton of these messages!
Thanks for the feedback, guys! So for some reason the default sort appears to be putting all featured listings first, but I don’t think they’re alphabetized… check out the listings on this page:
http://musclecars.wpengine.com/listings/classic-auto-parts-and-restorations/
See what I mean? Anything I can do to make it so it orders the featured ones first alphabetically, then the rest alphabetically?
Thank you!
Annnnd sorry. One further for you. How can I sort via featured first, alphabetically, then the rest alphabetically under that? Or as my client asked:
“Listings with a logo appear alphabetically at the top in descending order followed by those listings alphabetically without the logo. ”
Thanks!
Whelp, I spoke to soon… figured this out:
UPDATE 'geodir_gd_place_detail' SET 'is_featured'= 1 WHERE 'featured_image' IS NOT NULL
Now how do I set the default sort to featured?
Thanks!
