Ok thanks for spending the time, now I understand how it works. So unfortunately that means that it’s impossible for therapists to enter their own services in a user friendly interface. Custom posts don’t work that well for this scenario…
If I were to use regular custom fields instead, there’s no possibility to enter several values [Taxonomy for services: Price]. I guess the only realistic way is to only have a taxonomy without price but that doesn’t meet my needs.
Thanks Alex, appreciate the answer. Yes, I’ve seen that it’s compatible with everything except for the featured image. I think that would be an amazing addition for anybody who’s using Elementor to create templates like me.
No need to waste your time looking into my setup since it’s probably not a quick fix. I don’t think you’re actually using the Featured image in the standard WP way, that’s probably why. I’m just wondering how Elementor manages to pull it during the preview, I’ve asked them and will let you know if any relevant information is to be shared.
So you’re saying that GD isn’t compatible with the Elementor PRO theme builder?
That’s a disappointment, using shortcodes for images doesn’t give the flexibility that we can have using background images with Elementor.
But did you see on my screenshot that the featured image shows up as I’m in the theme builder, if it shows up there, I’m wondering why it’s not showing up on the front end.
Anybody else using Elementor + GD who would have experienced the same problem?
