    Hi Kiran,

Not that I know of. I used to get a developer to work on the website. I’m not sure if he used tinymce though.

Sorry in my last post, I was trying to say that when I try to insert a link under textarea field “Location with Mall Link” via the frontend, I experience errors. The insert link window doesn’t appear.

I have already set all categories to show. Have you taken a look at the urls I posted earlier?

It’s not about the date filter. Let me ask you, when you plan on visiting a new place, say California and you click on the location page for “California”, do you set date filters for it? Or do you simply click on California and expect to see meaningful information displayed on the place?

Moreover, a Location Page is a browsing page, not a search page. There are no date filters on the page. It is not intuitive for users to use a date filter on a location page.

Even if date filters were to be set, if there is no standard way to read the numbers, then the numbers become meaningless. e.g. date filter inserted 1 Dec – 30 Dec, indicates 30. How is the user to know whether it’s actually one event and the same event happening every single day from 1 Dec – 30 Dec, or 30 different events happening during the period 1 – 30 Dec?

Let’s say I’m making a choice to visit A or B, I see A has 5 events and B has 30 events, can I then assume that it’s a better idea to visit B since it’s more happening, when actually it’s the same event recurring every single day? Or is the user expected to open up the page and study the listings to sift through the entries themselves to ascertain exactly how many different events are there in “30”?

This is not a near search. It’s only a single filter search, without any search terms so there are more than one listing with the same relevance.

    Hi Kiran,

Thanks for your response once again!

Yes. For e.g. when I search CPT: Dining with Price Filter ‘$’, it seems to produce results in a rather constant order.

When people look at Categories and see a number, the general understanding is that this number represents the number of items in that category at that point in time. It doesn’t make sense for anyone to attach any other time frame because how would they know what this number represents? Is it 6 events in the coming week, or coming month, or 6 events today? And if there is 1 event recurring 6 times and another recurring 4 times = 10, are they supposed to know that it’s 10 events over the course of event A + B ? The number 10 becomes meaningless when they can’t interpret it.

Also, I pointed out that the other categories contain listings but are not shown on the page.

    Hi,

Ok I’ve activated my google billing. Some questions to try to get this thing working well.

I’m planning to use OSM on user-end and google is only for adding listings so that the address will be more accurate.
    1) This will ensure that I don’t get charged by google right?

I saw some snippets that the developers have posted on the forum to help force GD to use Google maps when adding listing both from frontend and backend.

    2) For my GD Settings, which option should I activate for maps API? OSM or Automatic?

    3) Is there a snippet to use Google for CSV imports too?

    4) To add my neighbourhoods, which is really the mall name, do I key in the lats and longs into the CSV file or do I leave it blank?

    Thank you!

Yes I did try clicking on set address.

No was not imported by CSV.

Basically I did everything the same way but it just suddenly doesn’t open up the neighbourhood option values.

I created a brand new entry of exactly the same values and now it works. Will let you know if this problem reoccurs. For now it seems ok if I were to just create a new listing.

Thanks Guust. It would be great if the Tags and Description fields could be auto populated for the franchises.
