Hi Alex,
I just did a test and followed your instructions but the sub-sorts doesn’t seem to be turning out as expected.
Ok I got that sorted out.
It seems like the sub-sort by default is Date Added am I right?
Eg. for Price Select with values 1,2,3,4 in your example, if I don’t implement any sub-sort to the “Sort by Price: Ascending”, listings with value 1 will always appear with the latest added listing and ending with the listing that was added first.
Is there a way to change the default sub-sort to Random instead?
I have many CPTs, multiplied by the number of sorts can make it a tedious task to add “random” subsort to every sort.

It works well now. Thank you so much!

Thank you for your response. The search bar at the top is for mobile view. Because having them at the side makes the grid too squashed when the width is small.
What is the reason that is making it work only when set to “show in main search”?
Is there any way to resolve this?

Unfortunately , the error has come up again. When I click on the Event Date filter under the search filters on the left, the calendar opens up but when I click to select a date, nothing happens.
When I switch to “Show in main search bar?”, it works fine but when I remove it from main search bar, and refresh the page once or twice, the problem comes up again.
Hi Alex,
Thanks for the response. The input type for Event Time is actually pretty good because of the option to type or select from the dropdown list and the flexibility to change the time increments.
It would be great if we could use that input type, add in a column for closed and also have Monday act as a template so once users enter an opening and closing time for Monday, the timing for the rest of the days follow suit. So users do not have to repeat the same information, but only edit the certain days where opening or closing hour might differ from the usual.
Please refer to the attached for a clearer illustration.

Thanks. I appreciate you pointing me to that. Now the thing I am looking for is to have the interface to be user-friendly and efficient.
In fact the events add-on, event time field has the user-friendly time input feature I’m talking about.
The snippet doesn’t really work in this case. Could you point me to the url where I can put in a feature request?
