January 23, 2019 at 6:46 pm in reply to: How to edit homepage categories displaying on featured image #465040Hi Sam,
Thanks for your reply. You can refer to this section of the documentation https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/faqs/what-are-some-common-changes-for-the-home-page-for-the-supreme-directory-theme/ that explains how to customize the “Popular Categories” on Supreme Directory Homepage.
Consider switching to GDV2 for more customization options https://wpgeodirectory.com/try-geodirectory-v2/
Thanks!
This reply has been marked as private.Hi Nievo,
Thanks for your reply. I’ve checked your backend and it seems you’ve everything configured correctly. I’ve even tried deactivating some plugins but it doesn’t help. I’ll get a dev to check on this. Thanks for your patience.
Thanks!
Hi Ian,
Thanks for your reply. Just curious, have you tested 3rd party “navigation menus” and see if it works out for you?
Thanks!
Hi Ian,
Thanks for your reply. Customizing the “Navigation Menu” responsive is complex and it falls outside of what we are able to offer in support. Do you have anything else besides the “Menu”?
Thanks!
Hi Nievo,
Thanks for your reply. Try switching the “Type” to JS and see if it works. If not, kindly share your WP admin access here and we’ll troubleshoot this for you.
Thanks!Hi there,
Thanks for your interest. To begin, I will list down the addons that you’d probably need to achieve what you needed there.
1. Location Manager addon https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/location-manager/ will allow you to add listing from multiple cities, regions or countries.
2. Payments Manager addon https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/pricing-manager/ will allow you to charge your clients based on the number of days and you can even charge by recurring payment https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/prices-and-payments-add-on-overview/#prices . Then, once the listing expires, it will be hidden from the public.
You can check out the rest of the addons here https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/category/addons/ .
Thanks!
Hi Zul,
Thanks for your reply. I’d suggest that you reach out “Genesis Support” for you posts issues. If you’re referring to a GD place listing, the author can access to its own listing through the GD > Dashboard widget.
Thanks!
January 23, 2019 at 8:52 am in reply to: How do I set the column width on the Post Detail page? #464885Hi Zul,
Thanks for your post. You can use the custom CSS code below to change the width of the contents and sidebar.
.single .content { width: 900px; } .single .sidebar-secondary { width:250px; }Hi Tania,
Thanks for your reply. I’ve just inspected your Website and I’m able to see the issue you had there. This looks like a conflict with another plugin, could you try deactivating non-gd plugins one by one and see which one is causing the issue you had there? Let us know how it goes.
PS : Check out GDv2 when you have the time https://wpgeodirectory.com/try-geodirectory-v2/
Thanks!
Hi Tim,
In GDV1, you can reorder the tabs using the method here https://wpgeodirectory.com/re-order-tabs-in-a-listing-detail-page/ . As for GDv2, this can be done easily as explained here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/places/tabs/
Consider switching to GDv2 https://wpgeodirectory.com/try-geodirectory-v2/
Thanks!
Hi Matt,
Thanks for your reply. If you’ve CPT’s, switching the CPT’s on the search dropdown will change the categories below to the CPT categories. Check out the attached screenshot. You can test it here. https://wpgeo.directory/supreme-directory/ . Is this what you’re looking for?
Thanks!
