I’d like you to check out this example https://wpgeo.directory/supreme-directory/places/united-states/california/ as it only displays listings from “California”. It should work out of the box if you’ve listings in the same region/state. Please share the URL of the site in question so we can take a better look at it and also WP temp admin access to your site. Since you’re the directory owner, you can edit any listings without claiming it. And you can remove the “Validation Message” since you don’t have any validation patterns.
