I searched the forum and found this as well, but from the replies couldn’t tell what the solution was. I discovered this attempting to update a listing manually so my question is two-fold:

    1) Re: “match the requested format.” I’ve included screen-shots below. When I went to change the city of the listing, I went to save it and received this error with regards to the pricing format. In the place settings I believe I have it right inputted correctly, choosing characters, unless I’m in the wrong place (see screenshots).

    2) I stumbled upon this by attempting to change the city in the listing. Can I do this manually with the listings without claiming them? I did click on no for “business owner/associate,” but what to ensure I can do this as admin without going through the claim process.

    Thanks!

Ah, I noticed that was there. I didn’t put it there and thought it was some default code, though it’s possible my developer stuck it in there. I removed it, but before I go any further can you please confirm that I can edit a listing by choosing no for business owner/associate without having it be claimed by me? I just need to change the city of a couple of listings which will also allow me to ensure the $$ issue is fixed (that’s how I stumbled upon it.) Also, should I just remove the validation message, too?

    Thanks!

    Hi James,

Since you’re the directory owner, you can edit any listings without claiming it. And you can remove the “Validation Message” since you don’t have any validation patterns.

    Thanks!
