You can only sort the listings using this method https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-place-settings/#sorting . If not, you can probably insert multiple category archive links on a widget and selecting it would bring the user to the category archive page.

I’ve just checked your Website and I’m able to see the issue there. This could be caused by a 3rd party plugin conflicting with GD. Have you tried disabling all non-gd plugins and see if it helps?
