Hi there,
I’ve just inspected your Website and I think that came from the “Default Value” you’ve set on the custom field as shown in this screenshot http://prntscr.com/dyunsw . Could you please check on it? If the issue persists, please share WP temp admin access to your site so we can take a better look. You can post the details here using the private reply option below.
Hi topi,
Could you try using the custom CSS code below and see if it’s what you’re looking for? Insert into GD > Design > Scripts > Custom Style CSS. It should force the image to fit the container size.
.geodir_category_list_view li .geodir-post-img .geodir_thumbnail { background-size: contain!important; } #geodir-post-gallery a .geodir_thumbnail { background-size: contain!important; }
Thanks!

This reply has been marked as private.Hi Jorge,
Check out this section of the documentation as it explains how to display custom fields on the listing page https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-place-settings/#show . As for displaying the “Event Categories”, drag the widget from the inactivate sidebar to the GD listing Sidebar. Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!

Hi there,
Here’s how you can change the default CPT name “Place” https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/faqs/how-do-i-change-place-and-places/ . Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!Hi there,
I’ve just inspected your Website and I’d suggest that you re-upload the category icons manually since there isn’t many. Just go to “Places Categories”, remove the broken image and reupload it.
As for the zoom level you are referring to, it uses the default zoom level and that can’t be changed without customization.
Thanks!
Hi Topi,
Do you mind sharing the URL of the site in question so we can take a look? I believe we can use custom CSS to prevent it from stretching. You can use the private reply option below.
Thanks!
Hi George,
Unfortunately, that would require complex customization to achieve what you needed there and I’d suggest you find a developer here https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/forum/geodirectory-jobs/ that might help.
Thanks!
