Bulk change post types

    Hello

    I recently changed from GeoTheme to GeoDirectory which imported all the data. On GeoTheme I simply had ‘places’ and ‘events.’

    I can’t rename the post types, but I’d like to change ‘places’ to ‘bars.’

    Is it possible that I can convert all ‘places’ to a new custom post type, ‘bars’? Right now they are all bars, so a bulk change would be fine – but I’m considering adding restaurants and want to differentiate between the two)

    Thanks, this seems to have worked fine on first glance.

    Should I be worried that if the word ‘place’ appears in any of the place profiles that it will change to bar?
