I exported my database content, set up a new databse and imported the content and now it’s fine.
Hi Simone,
I’m using Android. It seems to only be in Firefox. If I use the stock android browser app, or Chrome it works lovely. I’m happy to feedback to Firefox?

I’ve noticed that in mobile view the main menu toggle still only displays if the GD core plugin is activated. Otherwise no one can navigate the site! I’m just thinking that the GDF is described as usable without the GD core plugin, and this means it technically isn’t.
Hi,
I’ve done a little research and some testing with other sites using BuddyPress and it appears to be a problem between BuddyPress 2.1 and the latest GDF. I can adjust and save the menus of my orher BuddyPress sites without any difficulty. The problem doesn’t occur until I change something on the menu and save it. Until then the BuddyPress menu links work fine. Once I save it, the menu location is removed altogether, and I have to assign the menu again and hit save. Then Logout is automatically removed from the menu in the settings, and no BuddyPress links show up on the menu at the front end, despite being present in the settings. If I go back and try to add Logout again, the whole cycle occurs again, and the menu location is automatically removed.

If I leave all plugins deactivated and only activate GD it occurs.
This reply has been marked as private.Found the problem. The mobile menu only works if the GeoDirectory plugin is installed and activated. I had it installed and activated, but deactivated it because we wont be using it just yet, hence the mobile menu worked fine, but then disappeared. As the main menu isn’t related to GD I hadn’t made the correlation.
That’s fine, Paolo, there aren’t that many on there yet!
It’s strange because the menu was there on the Parent theme, it’s literally a case of switching to the Child theme that has caused it to disappear. I’ll run through each of the plugins tomorrow and let you know my findings.
Thanks for taking a look. 🙂
