GD and Page/Post Formatting

    Hi,

    I’ve realised that with the 3 or 4 themes I’ve tried adding GD to, including the GDF, it knocks out all white space/line breaks in standard WP posts and pages. If I deactivate GD the posts/pages layout as I’ve set them to. I had deactivated GD whilst I added all my info pages as this is a real pain when adding Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy which contain lots of blocks of text, and it also messes up any tables I add to pages. Everything is crammed together and hard to read. WP Autop is disabled in my config, and the problem only arises when GD is activated.

    Hi, are you using some plugin for text/column or that might affect the layout?

    I’ve run through all the plugins I’m using and it only occurs when GD is active, regardless of which other plugins are active. If I leave all plugins deactivated and only activate GD it occurs.

    I can’t seem to see what you mean, can you give me wp-admin details so i can try viewing a page with and without GD active so i can see the difference.

    Thanks, that was a weird one, it’s some JS in GD that is removing 

    <p>&nbsp;</p>

    for some reason.

    If you pass me FTP i will resolve it for you or if you are capable i can pass the code changes to be made. The fix will be in the next version of core!

    Another one Stiofan? Come on, please release an update, you must have 30+ of these little fixes now?

    I can wait for the big fixes, it’s all these little fixes that jeopardize our ongoing use of GD. Your next release is not going to be perfect, nobody expects that.
