Hi Alex, Its Geo 1280 Theme still on V1. I’m looking on my iPhone and there’s no option for the desktop version. Personally i think its older users that are not too tech savvy (such as one lady that was baffled that the t&c opened in a different page on her browser and then couldn’t work out how to get to the listng details page) and i know that would happen regardless but would be good for people to be able to access a desktop version. Just wonder if theres a section on the GD for managing the mobile version of the site in any way? Thanks

Hi Kor, you’d previously suggested that and its been turned off (assuming this is the same as deactivating it?) for the last few days and the problem is still occurring.

Hi, sorry did reply but has now disappeared! Turned off GD booster but had to wait for a user to report the issue if it occurred as unable to replicate. It has happened again since last night. Same thing- fill in login details, click to submit and page just refreshes but still with the login boxes filled in and no actual log in. Seems stuck in this loop. Was intermittent but now been like it for a good few hours. Whenever a user reports it, I have the same issue so not user specific.
Have updated everything necessary but not resolved it.

Hi Kor, Sorry for the delay in reply. I turned GD Booster off but as I cannot replicate the issue I had to wait for a user to see if the issue recurred. It is still doing it. Seems like the log in just zones out intermittently. Still the same issue- log in details completed, submitted and page refreshes with the details still filled in but not actually logging in.
I have tried updating everything and no resolve. The only thing I haven’t updated is the theme but this has only shown this morning so could not have affected previously.

I had several users email the other day and when I tested it was the same and would not log in at all, other times normal, other times logged in after a few attempts. After the email I got this morning I tested and could not log in (just refreshes the page but with login details still entered in boxes). Just tried again and it is working fine. I have seen the issue myself so know it exists but would appear it’s only now and then- but common enough for users to be affected by it. Any ideas?

This reply has been marked as private.Thanks for looking into this. I’ve checked my PayPal account and nothing seems amiss, no encryption on and nothing changed on the account recently or prior to this issue.
However, when I’ve just turned off testing, re-entered the same account email address and saved, I have then tested and it seems to be working fine. Perhaps it was a PayPal issue. Thanks for sorting it anyway.

Thanks Alex, the yards can now be viewed normally.
The checkout works to that stage, but it is when you click either the link to PayPal or the link to pay via PayPal on that page that it says there is an issue. Same error response as above (see attached image). It doesn’t seem to be an issue with my PP account as recurring payments are still being taken.

This reply has been marked as private.I have previewed the Genesis theme which looks no different to the current converted version of the incompatible 1280 and would be equally as much work to create the site as was. Is reverting back to V1 as simple as restoring the back up taken pre-conversion? Thanks
Thanks, but why does it prompt me to update then if the theme I use is not compatible? I feel I’ve been a bit conned into updating through a promise of all these wonderful things and ‘minimal’ changes when the site looks rubbish, no one can add any listings and I’ve wasted all day trying to sort it out to no avail, and now it turns out the theme I use wasn’t even compatible for V2.
I don’t like the V2 at all so far and there are lots of features from V1 I cannot seem to replicate even having read through all the V2 documentation and having been looking into it all day and testing various things (like the widgets- there’s not one for featured listings, no banners to highlight featured listings, seemingly no way not to have custom HTML on home page sidebar, the font size on the listing results is too small, the pictures on the listings are too big, certain widgets don’t scroll things like in V1- they just add huge long lists to the sidebar, the blog page just points to a singular blog page, not the index, and when it did work earlier there was no titles showing on any of the blog posts, its now added heaps of random content in the side bar.. its all things I’m just going to end up seeking help for and spending time on!!).
Thank you for sorting the blank page issue but there’s still no accessibility via ‘Add Your Yard’ for people to add listings it just goes still to another random page. This is how I make income from paid listings and at the moment thats not possible in V2. Is it possible to downgrade to V1 again (i backed up right before I converted) or is it better and easier to change the theme?
It’s all very well bringing out an update- and i understand why you have- but it seems to have overlooked those using WP that aren’t savvy on the system or coding or creating CSS! Basically, I just want the site back working. Its quite basic and was how I wanted it to look and function in V1 but equally I don’t want something that will soon be outdated re plugins or support?
If its easier and simpler to restore a backup and return to V1 please tell me how to do so, so i can get the site back up and running.

Ok, thanks. I will wait for an update from you before looking into anything else- then I’ll know what’s affected and they can resolve, and what I need to for any bits afterwards. Many thanks
