Thanks for this- useful info. However, I don’t want to add another filter on the search bar itself (like with the Category Selector on the above info), but within the results if there is a way to select and deselect categories that those in the results offer (like you can select and deselect multiple categories on the homepage map to show only those selected, or like on a hotel search site where within the results you can filter multiple options for facilities etc)
Is there the capability to do this?
Ahhh i see, sorry I misread your earlier replied and read it as ‘no billing is required’!
Will add the payment details and hopefully that’s the issue – if not i’ll let you know!

I’ve changed nothing on the site the issue literally just appeared overnight. Last time a similar issue happened due to change on Google it was sorted by the new API but this just seems to be having no effect despite it being correct.
The map and search function is an integral part pof my sites function so if thats not working effectively my site isn’t either!
Any ideas what to try next? Thanks
Hi Alex, did as you said so second section API Restrictions shows all API’s checked under restrictions and then listed, entered key on WP admin… same issue, same error messages!
So tried scrubbing everything else i’ve tried to start afresh creating just a new API for the Google Maps Java API on its own (which is all i have ever had i am sure), selected it under API Restrictions, saved new key to WP Admin… still the same problem! IT loads the map fine the first time, then when you test the search function it gets the same error message and then the map won’t load again!
The only other error it shows is that theres no billing set up but pretty sure this is not required if you’re under the quote?
Any more ideas?

No restrictions on the new API for applications or the API itself, all settings show ‘none’.
I can’t see anything about referrers other than on the settings under ‘application restrictions’ but its not checked.
What API is it I require as have only always had the Google Maps JavaScript API which is what I’ve regenerated this morning?
Just to add that having worked initially after updating the API, the map is now no longer working and again showing the error “This page can’t load Google Maps correctly” and now has a shaded map with “For development purposes only” message.

Have since found out that both screengrabs were Apple ‘Pro’ products (iPad Pro and Macbook Pro laptop). Shows okay on my iPhone but other than that all Windows devices!

Previously when I’ve sent users a temporary password I’ve created manually, once then logged in users could access their user profile page via the ‘Howdy…’ link at the top on the black bar, and edit to one of their choice. Having just tried to run through this, logged in users can no longer access the profile page (which previously viewed the same as my GD > Users >’Edit User’ admin page on the GD) it instead shows the attached ‘profile’ which gives no option to change the password and I can see no way how they can now access the full ‘Edit User’ page or change their password in any way.
I recently switched the logging in system as the function had stopped working (see one of my previous support threads) so not sure if this has anything to do with it.
Thanks, will see if for now just shifting the layout a bit will make it improved and clearer to use!
