yes, I know that :), I’m figuring that must be customization so have posted it as a job request.
To add to above post… same thing for the Add Event page, now it shows all of the post types and it seems folks should only have the option to add an event under Events. So am thinking this code won’t work for my needs? It will look very confusing for anyone who wants to add an event. thanks!
I just tried to delete this and add it to above post but can’t figure out how to get rid of it :).

Hi, I am somewhat code challenged, and this code works perfect for me but I am wondering how to remove Events from the Add Listings page now that all post types are showing. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Did the GD update change my settings? In the future when updating do I need to go in and check to make sure the settings are as they should be? Well, I guess if this issue comes up, this is the first thing to do :).
No problem about the widgets, I’m not adding much until I figure out other stuff :).

the shortcode works well in sidebar BUT, I end up getting this text in the widget, “Click on a link to filter results or on arrow to drilldown.”. I have looked for this text in all of the files in the location manager plug in and in the GD core files. where is it coming from :)???
Still trying to figure out how to get it in the secondary menu…

Ok, thanks, I haven’t even started messing with the css/design, and will be sure to check out the css if something else arises that it might be affecting.

I am more interested in, let’s say, someone clicks on the “community events” link under “events”, then I would like all events that are entered under ‘community events” to display, regardless of what city it is listed in.
Same with listings… all listings showing under, say restaurants, regardless of city.
And yes, I do have add everywhere checked. BUT, the location switcher in my menu does not include any other cities other than my default one, and yes, I do have other cities set up under “manage locations”.
