Widget that pulls from all post types

Hello there GD team. I was going to post this in the “wishlist” thread, but I didn’t want it to get lost under 6 pages of wishes… and thought there may even be a practical way to accomplish this as-is.

What I am looking for is a way to use the GD widgets such as the “Popular Post View” widget where it pulls results from ALL post types.

The issue I have is that I am working with 14 custom post types. Ideally I would like there to be just 3 widgets on the home page:”Featured listings”, “Popular Listings (Sorted by Rating)”, and “Latest Listings” that pull from all post types. Otherwise I am forced to do just a “latest” widget for each post type (thats a lot of widgets for the home page!!!). And forget about doing a “featured” and “popular” widget for each post type too… That would be 42 home page widgets… LOL, not gonna happen.

So if you have any recommendations of how to display my information efficiently that would be greatly appreciated!

***Secondary Question***

Is there a way that I can create a new page with a widgetized main section like the home page? I would like to Have a “Featured”, “Popular”, and “latest” page with a widget for each of my post types.
