I still have to choose recurring and then custom, so i will have to get instructions in there somewhere for my clients.

I appreciate the patch and help, did it change alot?.. It’s still a bit confusing.. For me weekly/monthly will be used much less and probably only have to be set up infrequently.
I still have to choose recurring or not(although i can default the tick mark to yes/recurring).

So for ,in this instance, it would be better for them to just have the calendar and pick one day or multiple days and then tick if they want different times and done. The recurring only for weekly or monthly would be separate at the end , may be a secondary calendar..

I understand that this is not something you will probably do if its not in a majority interest.

Is there a way that i can copy this page and run it on the site as events2 and try and get it set to the way i like and then change ti to the default events page or just change the code on the default?

thank you Kiran, I will send the ftp info by tomorrow.

I have another possible problem that i want to clear up before you bother patching.
I’ll put it in a new ticket.. I used “location” as my homepage in v2 before reading docs. I don’t know if that caused any lingering problems or not.. I’ll get back to you tomorrow

Yeah, sorry. I keep getting it reversed. I see it now. It’s alot of steps to go through to get there and i, and hopefully my clients will be using this a lot.

IS there a way to have it default to recurring? These are events that are generally two to three days and occasionally have different start and end times each day. I will almost never use, on this site, anything but the recurring /custom.

    Thank you for your responses.

I think i misunderstood the answer i posted above.
I want to use start and end times for each day on a multi day event.
I’ve seen this as “custom ” choice on v1.

    Got it , thanks!

Is there an easy way to add an “img” button to the toolbar, for linked images, if i wanted it.?

Is it a security issue to allow outside image links? and following up on that can any user add malicious code through the description box?

    Thanks

Continued. I want it to be more like the “edit place” or “add place” that i see on the back end, allowing for “add media” and being able to work in a larger “preview/WYSIWYG window. Does that make sense?
