Thanks for the info. I got it to work for the date, category tags, and other tags. I’m not a tech person so digging around to find the correct css isn’t something I’m used to. Most themes I use have easy settings to either display or not display those items. Might be something to potentially add are some basic updates like that to the blog area of this theme.
Thanks again for the help!
Thank you, that worked!
Thanks Paolo,
That will have to work for now. I was hoping there would be a way to have some sort of “Verified” label or something to show a listing has been claimed/verified without having the author info/avatar/link visible.
Just not sure why it’s necessary to display those details along with the verified badge. Maybe that can be put on the docket to implement. I’m using the Supreme theme fyi.
Thanks for the temp workaround though.

Glad I’ve only done 10 or so so far. 🙂 I misunderstood those instructions when I read through it previously so it definitely makes more sense now.
I should be all set for now, thanks!

Thanks Giri! That did the trick, I appreciate it.

Does that mean images added via url (even if it’s our wp content url) from a csv import act the same as if we use the GD uploader on the listing in the backend?
August 3, 2017 at 12:04 pm in reply to: Possible to have image attachments pull from wp media files? #389588Hi Kor,
I am referring to the backend area, not concerned with frontend or users at this stage. I’m not sure that thread really answered that original poster’s concerns or addressed mine.
If I did understand one portion of the other thread correctly though, the response seemed to indicate that the media files uploaded on the backend via the ‘image attachments’ on a particular listing do NOT impact the database load or weigh down the site?
If that is indeed the case, then I guess it’s no big deal. I know you can set a default image per category but that doesn’t help me for what I’m currently doing. I appreciate any more insight.
Thanks,

Hi Kor,
The background image, not the avatar.
Thanks,
AndrewThanks Paolo! That worked but it seems the green verified checkmark now covers part of the ‘author’ name. Is there a way to have some sort of ‘verified’ green text that would go under the name or not even display the author link at all?
Thanks for the help,
AndrewI discovered that the code I added to remove the author image from the listing detail page is why the “?Claim” was not displaying. Is there a way to remove just the author image?
Thanks,

July 29, 2017 at 4:05 pm in reply to: Wanting the Supreme top search area to look like the demo #388982No apologies necessary. I appreciate both yours and Giri’s input and I’d say getting to the bottom of it in less than 24 hours is no delay at all. 🙂

July 29, 2017 at 3:34 pm in reply to: Wanting the Supreme top search area to look like the demo #388976No that wasn’t what I was needing actually. I know how to do that. I need the ‘launching soon’ page to remain the homepage for now (which I already changed back).
I was wondering why the gd-home page search area looked like the pic I attached above. So maybe it seems that formatting is only correct when it is set to the homepage? That doesn’t seem right though because eventually that will be a ‘directory’ menu item, not the main homepage.
Why does the gd-home top area look like it does when it is NOT set to be the homepage? Is there a way to retain the proper look of that page when it isn’t the homepage?
Thanks,
