The Jetpack plugin and contact form it uses is the most widely used and best form in my opinion. It is made by WordPress aka Automatic. I’ve used contact form 7, gravity etc. You should easily be able to figure this out. I’m not a CSS expert. I’ve never seen the Jetpack contact form do this and I’ve personally created over 150 WordPress sites using many different themes. Otherwise, I like the theme a lot.
