Thank you! That worked. I did not realise we had that in there. A great relief.

    Lesson learned!

Same Javascript error and it is in your javascript library.

To confirm we have just looked at another site (in development) and that too now has the same error.

Please can we get a fix? Thanks

Ok, have removed and fully deleted additional Add listing pages and have the gd_place one only. That works fine as long as I set the link button url to define the cpt form to display.

However still the same. Strangely the preview works and is populated, and from there if you over to another section or page and then back it has saved and the data can be edited as normal.

So the form is saving but the button not completing. Any quick fix as hoped to be going live today?

    Thanks, Nick

Yes we are. You’re suggesting we don’t so I will try that.

Doug, they also have a multi-location plugin called Franchise I think, which may help.

Thanks Doug, someone from GD is looking at it now.

I have done the same, exported for the template and then imported test listings.

But not populating the custom fields, possibly because the gd_location doesn’t recognise that custom fields are there.

I am a bit of a novice so not sure about statewide, but I did notice you can set a listing to have no physical location, or maybe that was in the template – can’t remember. Look for CPT settings and single listing settings.

    Cheers

Ok, CSVs working – thanks again. All records now pass the error tests, but …

none of the custom field data in gd_place is exporting or importing, although the field names/headers are.

I have used the Export function to do this adding just one line of new data and checking its identical in format etc. If I download the sample csv from the link next to file select that only has the factory setting fields – so no help.

I have location manager installed and activated but there is currently an issue with the maps address finder field … can that interfere with the upload of other fields?

But I doubt that as the Export function does not show the custom fields. Why?

    Thanks, Nick

Thank you and apologies for not reading down the page. Maybe include a note earlier?

Ps. I am using the gd_place template as one CPT. When I export that (Now called Rooms to rent) it only shows the 3 listings you provide with the download.

Hi again, used the WP Imports successfully for posts and users, but have found won’t allow import of CPTs as all posts go into Posts. So using Import/Export function within GeoDirectory > Settings > Import/Export.

I am using OpenOffice and have saved a csv but for some reason will not import, saying it is not a csv file. There is a message that starts ‘Array but I can’t read the rest. Thought maybe it was the picture references – set up according to your instruction with | and :: characters, so removed that, but still getting an error and won’t import.

When I export the CPT it is not showing all fields in the CPT, is that the issue and if so why are they not exporting?

If it is that why am I getting a general Array message telling me its not a csv when that is not the problem?

    Thanks, Nick

Thanks Alex. That is useful and will help I am sure. It’s not specifically about WP All Import though. Is there some documentation on that add-on? Thanks
