    This only happens after conducting a search.

    If you do a search and type the name of the location and the city name in the “near” field, once the search is completed and there are no results I realized the city name is typed incorrectly, if I try and put the cursor in the middle of the city name to correct the mistake, then the entire city name disappears and I can not make a correction. If I click outside of the field the city name then reappears.

    The second of the issues is resolved, thanks.

    As for the first I installed ultimate member plugin to allow for custom registration forms and allow front end login, that might be the root of the problem. I’ll have to check all my settings

    I had already applied all updates but didn’t think to edit any of the categories.

    Hi Paolo,
    thanks for your reply, and yes you are correct as of last week you suggested I get an account with more resources, since then I upgraded to an account with 3x the original resources and it did help in speeding up page load times as well as overall performance.
    It appears some of the issues im having now still relate to my hosting account and im working with them to take care of it, however the question above was due to some suggestions I received from gtmetrix and google developer tools supposedly to improve performance and load times.

    I was just wondering if it had any merit as the site is scoring really low on both tests.

    Hi Paolo,
    Thanks for your advise, I have pre-paid this hosting account for a few years already so I think I’ll stick to it for now however I did upgrade the plan and the site is now running way better.

    Once the hosting account expires I’ll probably switch providers to something like what you suggested.

    I take it back now all the listing are affected. Actually the dentist listings wont even load now.

    I’ll check with godaddy and see what can be done.

    Thanks for your help, I’ll check back if nothing gets resolved on their end.

    Hi,
    the site is hosted on a shared linux server with godaddy web hosting, I thought it might be something to do with the server however nothing as far as I know has changed and when logging in to c-panle I see the memory usage doesn’t even reach 50%.
    I am also hosting other sites on the same server and none of them are experiencing problems, I also thought it was strange that only the Medicos listing seemed to be affected like this and not the others which would point to the site being the culprit and not the hosting environment. But of course I could be wrong.

    Hi Paolo,
    Thanks for all your help, I am not sure what changes you made to fix the bug but as of this morning when I checked the site I am unable to see the list of any of the CPT. I click the link for “Medicos” for example and I get “Epic 404 – Article Not Found”

    Ran the GD Tools just to see if anything came up and got all green, since im unsure what changes were made I dont really know where to start looking.

    Hello,
    Strange that we are getting different results.
    I update by going to plugins and clicking the “update now” link that appears when you get the message: “There is a new version of <plugin> available. View version <x.x.xx> details or update now.”

    I dont know if it makes any difference however I also have MO and PO translation files uploaded for the plugins to the directories listed in your documentation here: http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/translating-addons/

    Which strangely enough I find myself having troubles with as well. I translated “Business Owner/Associate?” in the claim listing plugin and uploaded the MO files yet this is still appearing in English on my site while everything else is translated just fine.

    Any thoughts?
