I can confirm, deactivating Yoast appears to resolve the issue. Kinda stumped on why it’s working on your installation, but not mine.

I finally got the majority to import. It was foreign characters in the csv file that were keeping them from being imported properly. Turns out there are a lot of accented text when dealing with wines.

January 25, 2019 at 6:11 pm in reply to: Listings: Import CSV – not all column data being added to places #465476I realize that I missed your #3 recommendation regarding image file paths. I just changed them for the file name instead and re-uploaded. I’m still seeing the same issue. The import screen says 401 items successfully added, but this time 289 places imported. I’m seeing a lot of overlap with the locations that are missing data from the import file.
As I mentioned I’m going to try and isolate those entries that didn’t import to see if there is anything abnormal there. Unfortunately nothing is sticking out right now.
January 25, 2019 at 5:53 pm in reply to: Listings: Import CSV – not all column data being added to places #465471Hi Paolo,
Thank you for the fast reply.
To clarify, I am using V2. This is my first attempt at setting up Geodirectory so nothing from V1 should be in there. Also to give you some context I added the custom fields within GD while setting it up. In order to keep the upload file equivalent I originally did what you suggested— I added a new listing to the website through wordpress then exported the listing as a CSV file. Here is how that file exports for your reference: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1tlVzb2xn5UBmzn_UcLJDSo9WlrN4infZ/view?usp=sharing
As you will see I kept the column headers the same as the import file (no geodir_ prefix). Additionally you’ll see the comma before the category ID is present in this file.
Anyway I updated the import with your recommendations. Seen here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1swj-nBSmwD3UkczePQHJMjLhB_PT4GZx/view?usp=sharing On the first upload only 290 out of 401 were added even though the upload screen said that all 401 entries had been successfully added (see screenshot).
Additionally 12 of those listings only had their post_title, post_content, post_tags, post_category, and post_image data imported. Also when I export the locations that were newly uploaded only 270 show up in the export file.I’m going to be playing around with it to see if I can try importing only the ones that didn’t import, but I wanted to give you an update in the meantime.
Anyway thanks for the help here!
Nolan
Thanks, exactly what I was looking for!!
