Ah, thank you Guust!!
I have this question too. I have Kleo theme. Would it be possible/advisable to set up Whoop on a subdomain? If so, where should BuddyPress be installed? I have a social network and other plugins that use BuddyPress so I would want it to live on my main Kleo theme site. But could the same BuddyPress installation then interact with Whoop on the subdomain?

Thank you for your response. I am sorry but I am still quite confused. I did have this set up perfectly two months ago but can’t remember how I did it. I have both a Business Directory page and an Events page. Both use CPTs. How do I make the events page show only the Events CPTs? This was all fine just this morning. I had a map, dropdown for All, Past, Upcoming, and the events listings displayed below. The Business Directory page is displaying fine. If I start messing around with widgets, will I mess up that page, or is there a separate place to add widgets for the Events page?

I am having the same issue that my thumbnails look like a mess on the list page since images are uploaded in various sizes and display as cutoff in the thumbnails.– Is there a recommended ratio for height/width for thumbnails to look nice as in the demo?
– Can the actual photos be larger versions of that size ratio and the thumbnail will show the whole photo but smaller? Or will the thumbnail just crop a small portion of the larger photo?If I decide to use your CSS code above, which file should I put that in and where exactly in the code? I don’t understand the consequences though of using the code – does it impact only thumbnails or all images? I am just starting my directory, so if it’s a good thing to do from the beginning now would be a good time for me to do it.

Thanks for your help Paolo. I think I am getting it figured out now.
In case this helps anyone else in getting your CPTs figured out, here’s what I did.
– I deleted all of the demo categories under Places except one, which is more “place-like” than “business-like”
– I added new “business” CPTs of my own (i.e., same search “level” as Places but my own types, go to GD module or WP left nav)
– I added new categories within my new CPTs (go to GD in WP left nav bar), these are subcategories of the business type (eg CPT = restaurants >> category = chinese restaurants)
– I added a few test listings for several CPTs and categories.
– CPTs and categories will not show up on the map if there are no listings in that CPT/category.
– Searching will go to the center of a city, so if you search on one mile radius and your business is in the same city but more than one mile from the center point that GD is using, it will not display in the search results.
– In terms of Adding Listing – if you go to the Add Listing Page (which I had as a dropdown on the main menu) it will only show the Places categories, not your new CPTs and their categories. Users have to go to My Dashboard on the Directory landing page and go to Add Listing there in order to see all of your custom CPTs. So I deleted the Add Listing page off of my main menu.This is resolved for me, at least for now.:-) Thanks.
