Can user add CPT listing? And search result issues

Hi –

A few questions as I get acquainted with the directory and CPTs:

1) With CPTs, do I need to manually add all of my directory listings myself? Or can Users add their own listing and select their CPT? I am using Kleo theme. I will have a large directory, so I want to use CPTs and also want the users to enter their own listings.

2) If I already created a listing in the normal way, can I then convert it to be a CPT? If so, how?

3) Can users select both a category and sub-category for their type of business?

4) Finally, I am having trouble with the search results showing my two test listings.
– With the regular entry (not CPT), I go to search, and for Places, no city, it pulls up my test result. If I put in Places and the city name, it shows no results. If I put in the Category of the test listing, nothing shows up.
– With the CPT I also entered a test listing, and while the link/filter shows on the map, the test listing does not display for either all Places or the category.

Why is it not picking up the cities or the CPT?
