1 point to add to the list would be to avoid managed wordpress plans, because they don’t handle sessions.
The 1st question to answer when chosing a hosting provider is: where are my visitor coming from? If the majority are from Europe than chose a European provider. If they are from the US, than a US provider will be preferred.
