The only reason why icons are not showing in the map is because somehow dummy categories icons are missing.

What seems not working are permalinks.
I see wordpress being installed in a directory of a domain and the website visibile at a completely different domain… I’ve never seen something like that before and honestly I think that’s the source of all issues.
Currently there is no support for online entities.
Sorry about it, we will consider adding options for them too…

everything is feasible, but CSS is something so easy to learn if you use a tool like firebug (as Duster said in his post about his new website) that is a shame for anyone wanting to create websites, not taking 1 day or so to learn and start practicing…
It will make your work evolve so much faster.
To pass you the css for your categories I need to see the website, so please pass me the link.

1 you can remove the maps from everywhere, but the add listing form. GeoDirectory works with addresses and lat and long coordinates, not with approxiamate data.
2 You need to install the multi location addon and set it up with the locations you want to use.
3 That will require a customization of the templates and css.
4 Tabs can be modified via hooks and action filters (code functions only) at the moment.
5 Each listing provide that already : Send Enquiry link is in the sidebar of each listing
6 Review are comments, any wordpress plugin capable of adding a rich editor to post comments form should do the job.
7 it would require a customization of the add listing form template.

If you click on it a tooltip with all valid formats will show up.

simply download and install the custom post types (CPT) addon.
It will allow you to create as many “Post types” as you wish.
In this demo http://wpgeo.directory/ for example, I changed Places to Attractions and added, Hotels and Restaurants. Plus there is the Events Addon to create the Events directory.
Creating a new Custom Post Type is really easy. To do it the 1st time I clicked on edit for Place custom post type to see how it was created and than created my own following that example field by field. (if you open the edit cpt place in a window and the add new cpt in another window side by side, it will make it super easy to create a new CPT)

in 1.0.4 we “forgot” to add an option to select zoom level.
1.0.5 will solve this. (see image attached) We were supposed to release it today, but we are not done testing, so we may push it to tomorrow.

we are about to release the new version. If not today it will be tomorrow.
We are just doing a final round of tests.The day after releasing the new version we will provide an addon with all functions to make the plugin totally adapt to Enfold, Avada and X layouts.
With this 3 examples, anyone should be able to adapt any other theme too.
