Hi,
The ‘Map Icon’ field is a required field in category. So you need to select an icon to add/edit the category. Can you please try adding an icon and update the category? Let me know if it works for you or not.

There is a confusion to you. The text displayed in the textarea which you are not able to edit is placeholder text which is just for your reference that what will be the default email body. If you want to change it then you need to add your own text in the text area and save it. You can use the tags displayed below the textarea which will output the tag values when email is sent to the user. So if you want to change the text then you just need to write your own email body in textarea using the tags displayed below.

You have to ask your hosting provider about if the session directory is writable or not as it seems the error is due to session directory access is denied. The plugin is trying to start the session using function session_start() which you can mention to your hosting provider. Once this is fixed you can convert V1 to V2 as per the instructions are given here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/installation/#convert

Have you discussed this issue with your hosting provider? It may be possible they can provide some solution to fix or at least they can suggest if it is due to a plugin or something else. If you have staging site then just provide us the admin and FTP details in private reply and we will look into it if there is any issues due to a plugin or something else.

There is no filter available for now so you can just modify it using translation file or by modifying core file(not recommended and will be override by next update). I have added the task for this and will work on that asap.

It seems javascript error on your add event page. The error is due to the translated string. The actual string in English is “Please choose any address of the (%s) country only.” which is translated to “Veuillez choisir l’adresse du (Canada) pays suelement.” The problem is due to the apostrophe in the word “l’adresse” so kindly change the translation and use the full word or remove apostrophe and let me know if it fixes the issue or not.

Kindly check all your listings are in draft status which will not be displayed in the frontend. The listings which are having published status will be displayed in the frontend. So kindly update the status of all the listings to publish and save and let me know if it works for you or not.
