Knew I should have said nothing lol
Now how do I explain – umm thinking cap on – will come back to you
🙂
I agree with Ken – my humble opinion is below :-
____________________
Address
Post Code
Set On Map
____________________
Instruction: Is the address set correctly on map? If not please drag the pin to the desired location and select set on map to confirm.
______________________
Country
Region
City
_________________________
Instruction – Are Country Region City Correct? If not please enter the correct details into the fields. When complete set on map to confirm. Please drag the pin to the desired location if you wish to fine tune the address and then select Set On Map.

Set On Map
________________________The address entry is the most crucial part of this plug-in, yesterday not one of the seven testers would have listed – they would have all left the site confused and unlikely to return.
Thanks
🙂
Cant do that Vikas as then the other CP types with several entries dont show all markers on the map – Guess you cant have it all ways so one zoomed right in will be fine
🙂
@kcmarine – In my case the details from the address entry are entered into the back end just the fields in the front end still show the default city and region country etc.
This is what really confuses the user because they see the address position correctly on the map and know that they have entered the details correctly because the map is showing that they have, yet the default details are still displayed in the select boxes.
It works as it did before Vikas – one entry and it zooms in 100% which means you see just a marker but no comprehension of where the entry is in relation to the area its in.
Its not a real biggy as having one listing is going to be very very unusual
🙂
This reply has been marked as private. Not really looked at events yet so this maybe a stupid response but I will throw it in anyway – but could there not be a grouping option so:-
12.05.2014
one event one day – ordered on time entered
one event over ten days – group 12th – 22nd – ‘group name’ ordered on time entered
one event over ten days – group 12th – 22nd – ‘group name’ – ordered on time entered – repeated 10 timesMost likely not what you were getting at but having the same event showing ten times on ten different days just doesn’t work from an end user point of view.
🙂
Yes I did but thought that was always there as with one listing in a Custom Post type it zooms in 100% with no control.
Phew – that’s a relief
🙂
I would love to see an ability to create a Price Package that allowed multiple insertions over various time spans.
Even better if it encompassed Custom Post Types, so you could list in various custom post types multiple times in a yearly period for a one off fee.
I like the author widget – GD definitely needs something along these lines.
Thank You 🙂
Yes its listed them alphabetically – I see that now – it wasn’t what I expected though hence the query
Thanks
That’s what I would have thought – just wondered why it was displaying as 2, 1, 4 and not 4, 2, 1
🙂
That sounds like a very positive step forward
Will watch this space with interest
