Ran entering listings past a few people today and without exception they all stumbled at the address part.
With Multi city activated the Country Region and City are all filled in with the default country region and city – my selection of test users all got to the address line and entered the first part of their addresses and then immediately moved to Post Code because of the fields being filled with the default setting. They hit the find on map which it did but because those fields didn’t change they thought that they had got it wrong and didn’t know what to do. They expected the fields to be blank or showing select country and the same with the other fields.
Can these not be set to show
enter country
enter region
enter city
That way they can step through the process and because they are setting them they know that they have everything right and can move on to the next part,
I ran it past 7 users today and they all faltered in this area which for a directory is pretty crucial.
Just an observation – don’t know if anyone else has tried this with potential users would love to hear how they got on if they have.
