January 13, 2015 at 11:00 am in reply to: Plugin incompatible with GeoDirectory Share Location #27330
These two plugins were combined and now share location should be deleted.
You should delete “Share Location” from the downloads then. I was just searching for a description of that plugin to know what it does.
Cheers.

Thank you.
January 13, 2015 at 10:43 am in reply to: GeoDirectory_framework default permissions are incorrect #27327geodir_advance_search_filters_1.1.4.zip has the same problem. Please let me know when I can download the corrected one.
Thanks.
In the price package you must select what fields to display under “Post fields”
Oh boy, I totally missed that.
Thank you.
This reply has been marked as private.Place.
That is used to see “place”, “place” categories, “place” tags, add “place”, etc…
So every single place in the plugin where that word “Place” is used, can’t be translated correctly.
Example:
English: Place Categories. (This applies for tags as well)
In other languages you say in the other way. “Categories for the Place”, using the word categories first.
So if you translate by separate words, it will never make sense. It will read something like “For The Categories Place”. Which is a mess.
As Place is used for “Add Place” as well, and you translated it for using it in the categories, it reads “For the Place Add”.
And so on, all the phrases made by mixing words instead of using real complete phrases, will never work translated, never.
The strings must be complete and for the correct usage, its imposible to translate something that use random words to create phrases.
So the PO file should have “Add Place”, “Place Category”, “Place Tags”, in singular and in plural and so on.
Thanks.
No errors. I select free and it displays everything, I select the “new price” I created and all the extra fields are not shown.
Thanks.

Cheers.
January 12, 2015 at 1:36 pm in reply to: GeoDirectory_framework default permissions are incorrect #27119Ok, now they are correct.
geodir_payment_manager_1.1.1.zip has the same problem. (I have not tested all, but some are ok)
January 12, 2015 at 12:31 pm in reply to: GeoDirectory_framework default permissions are incorrect #27111The main directory is correct now, but all the contents are not. (se attached)
1- No
2- But I am able to import them directly to a sub category.
Actually this is how WordPress works as well, you add to any sub category (without selecting the parent) and the parent shows how many.
So its not implemented correctly here. I should be able to select a sub category without selecting the parent first. Just like the import lets me to. (Of course parent showing the number)January 12, 2015 at 12:10 pm in reply to: GeoDirectory_framework default permissions are incorrect #27105Are you developing in Windows ?
Is the file tar’d before it is zipped? (Common with gzip.)Just to elaborate on that, what you’re saying is not true across all platforms. It is true Windows to Windows, but it is not true Windows to Linux, for example.
On what system you’re developing on (Windows, Linux, Mac, etc) and what application are you using to zip up the file ?
Lets see if we can fix the problem, because every single file in those two zips are with incorrect permissions.
Cheers.
I guess our translations are not meant for machine translations?
Actually you have it for machine translations and they are needed for humans that use real phrases, not phrases composed by several words like a machine will do.
Human: See All Places
Machine: I need 3 words = See, All and Places (I will make a phrase with this and no one will be able to translate it to another language never, because it will never makes sense and will sound like a machine incorrect translation with very bad grammar)Makes sense?
I’ll ask Stiofan to have a look at your question.
Thank you.
Why popular if it display just all the categories without any popular order?
It just shows things from a to z, not by popular. The name for that should change to “categories” and nothing else. (It only confuses thinking its popular when its not)
I will try to custom show them with CSS.
About the tags, I missed the dropdown to select which ones, thanks.
Thank you.
No, I have a clean install and the translations are incorrect.
PO file:
1- All
2- Places(Forced incorrect) Translation:
1- Todos
2- Lugares“Todos Lugares” does not exist in Spanish (the same applies for any other language) “Todos los Lugares” is the correct translation and it cant be translated like that, because the strings “All” and “Places” are used in a lot of other places in the site.
Like this: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/translate-of-menu/
So if the theme displays “See All Places”, the translation PO file should have a string for “See All Places”, but it has 3 strings, “See”, “All” and “Places”, terribly wrong.
Thats what I need to fix.
Thanks.
