I’m pretty sure Manila was talking about the location switcher on the site he referred to. If you have a look at it it is exactly what you described, works well! 🙂
This is WordPress, unwanted fields in the database are the least of your worries! Just pretend they’re not there 🙂
Have a look at this for an idea. There doesn’t appear to be a lot of support for limiting tags, which surprises me, I think it is a good idea.

You’ll have to figure out how to implement it yourself, let us know if you have any luck!
Yeah, don’t like that idea 🙂 – too hard on mobiles.
Hi Guust, sorry I thought by “scroller” you meant a select control that scrolls.
🙂
I’ll add another option!
The current combo control is not very practical on a mobile phone, as mentioned elsewhere, because the keyboard pops up from the bottom and the droplist drops down from the top making – selection very difficult.
So I would be happy with either a normal select control, as Guust suggested, or the entry control, as Paolo suggested, but not both.
BUT, I have 74 “cities” in a relatively small area, many cities have no listings so I would want the selection list to ONLY INCLUDE cities which have a listing – in the same way that the Categories list only has Categories with a listing. (As I requested elsewhere)

Is your plugin is based on a wp Gallery?
You could probably hack the plugin, along the lines that Paolo outlined above, so that it has a list of images. That is probably what the plugin does with the passed post id.

Any chance you could start making daily or weekly builds available for download? It’s 3 weeks now since your last release which is an awfully long time for a product undergoing so many changes – it’s very hard for developers to keep up with all the bits and pieces of code snippets that have been posted in these forums. It would also make your life easier because I know this particular bug, and others, have been reported elsewhere so you would have fewer reports to chase down.

I can’t get the list view to display in the Listing Sidebar, only 2 or more columns.
Can someone please answer this question?
If a coupon is used on a recurring payment package is the discount applied to the first payment only, or to all payments?
Thanks
Hi Vikas,
I know I’m impatient, but if you are looking at modifying this before the next update, I wonder if you could also consider adding a price option to make the price only visible to administrators?
For example, I am setting up some “Foundation” members and giving them a free listing for a year. These are all listings that will be created on the front end by admins only. And I want this price to only be visible to admins.
I can code it myself, but if you are in the area I thought maybe you could add that too??
I can make it a feature request if you like, but it is probably easier to code myself if you aren’t able to do it now.
+1
kirleo1, do yourself a favour and use the wp plugin called Duplicator to create a backup of your original site which you can then re-install anywhere, automatically. The whole process will take you less than 5 minutes.
Works here!
