    It must have a secondary ordering since it arranges “Featured” first, and then published date second. If I change the publish date, it will change the order the events are listed.

    So, it just needs to order them based on the event’s date instead of the published date.

    Additional information… When I activated the GD Slider in the widget area, it activated the Theme’s Slider. Not necessarily what I wanted, but I may be able to work around it.
