August 14, 2016 at 9:15 am in reply to: When enabled it stops the buddypress menu options for users. #246351I tested in 2016 also
with GD turned off
With Gd turned on
The main thing is this only happens with non admin users so it might not be totally obvious when developing.
it is in relation to the manage_options capability though. as if i turn that on for the normal users then the menu comes back
but that then gives them other capabilities i dotn want them to have.
hmm canonicals are already on nm
must be a crawling thing.one solution would be canonicals. is there a function to grab the correct permalink for a page?
Hi
yes i have that. but its 4000 odd urls to be mapped. i was wondering if there is an internal function that can be used or i need to book out a week to write redirects…..
I appreciate this is a wordpress internal function and works the same across the board. but duplicate content is a real issue for SEO.

The wpeditor plugin when enabled breaks geo directory dropdowns
I going to disable it altogether as i just use nano to make the changes but you might want to take a look as it i think we were actually advised to install this by one theme for making changes. cant recall which one think it might have been the 7 theme.
