Do you just want to show the main image and no slideshow or just not have the slideshow auto scroll?

You could change that with the CPT addon but it would change it to lowercase everywhere.

Our API call adds several other things like place library and sets the specific language, you would be better asking them how to remove their call.Thanks,

The location page is designed to be for each location, it will only show listings from this location, its a page with widget areas. There is no setting to add a category to the end of the url and turn it into a category page.
The question is and has been what is required to add categories to just the location url’s, and not the profile urls? I’m not interested in anything but that, thx.
I would not recommend this, to achieve it you would need a good dev.

I would agree with Guus, make sure u remove w3tc, it can be a nightmare to remove, there are lots of guide online. If that does not help then please provide FTP info and we can take a look.

The templates are under the templates folder listing-listview.php and widget-listing-listview.php
You can create a folder in your child theme called “geodirectory” and add the files to that folder, they will then takeover.

TO /places/texas/dallas/bobs-pics/#2 That is how GD works anyway? If you set a specific location then the url will be something like:
/places/united-states/texas/dallas/photography/
/places/united-states/texas/austin/photography/Maybe i am missing something?

I’ll try and answer each point in turn:
#1 The description can be disabled per price pack but other wise its required, you could add a default text like “No description yet” which would bypass the requirement, this can be done via a hook.
#2 The same is true for tags, in the price package set “tags limit” to YES and the limit to 0 to disable.#3 This has already been added and will be in the next release midweek.
#4 For this i would be inclined to just use the main cat and then use tags for all the sub species?
#5 the gd_listing_map shortcode used the listing page template so you can show any info here, for example go to GD>Place Settings>Address>Show in what locations? add “listing page” and it will show there, you can do this for any custom field.
I think GD can do everything you require, though the categories one might require some further explanation of how you want it to work.
Just let me know if you have any further requirements, there is not much GD can’t do 🙂

The isotope thing you would have to look into yourself, i have not worked with it so don’t know how difficult it would be,
The images not showing on infinite scroll will likely be because of our lazyload images, you can disable it from GD>Design>Scripts>Enable lazy load images
or you could fire this JS function after the listings are loaded geodir_init_lazy_load();Thanks,
