You can customsie the search functions if you have the advanced search addon installed.
The cats on the front are the most poular categories by count, you can edit the names and images via settings.
SD is fully mobile optmised.

I would suggest getting it right the first time 🙂
WP is slow at importing, we do it via ajax so that an unlimited amount can be ported in but it can slow it down a little.
What sort of massive bulk changes are you making?

What i do is move the plugin folder from the plugins folder to p.bak , that will deactivate the plugin temporarily.Stiofan

1. With the advanced search addon you would be able to add a category drop down, you could then hide the main search input and the “near” field can be made to ajax search and autocomplete locations.
2. To change the content you would need to use the following hook to replace the whole function with your own:

Don’t you want users who are looking at a listing to be abel to see near by listings when the click the cat results?
Do you have advanced search installed? It should show the locations in the search bar Near field to indicate its limited to that location.

Some issues might be hosting but others might be import issues.
Did you import via csv, did you use open office or libre office or excel for the csv file?Stiofan

I think you would need to create your own widget or form and just replicate the url parameters.

This link is passed via JS i am not sure it would be easy to change, but also i don;t think it should affect the initial load times as the map only loads after document ready.
