You are welcome! 🙂
Hello,
You were using some v1 addons, all addons need to be v2 if using GDv2, i updated them and it now works.
Thanks,
Stiofan
Hello,
That widget should get an update soon to make it more customisable, for now the quickest way would be to copy the whole widget code and change the name and then add the address in instead of the file can be found here: https://github.com/AyeCode/geodirectory/blob/master/includes/widgets/class-geodir-widget-post-directions.php
Just register the new class like you would a widget.Stiofan
I have fixed the 500 error, this was due to a missing depreceted function in the v1 of the theme, this was fixed in the last release of GDv2.
I do not know if u have any customisations in the themes, if not just update them and you should be good.
Licences use the slug of the addon plugin folder when activating, they also use the site url, if either of these change then you need to deactivate and then reactivate the licence.
If there is anything else just let us know.
Thanks,
Stiofan

Hi Greg,
This is interesting, it seems to be something related to WP Engine, somehow they have moved the “comment_form” action OUTSIDE the comment form…
If you can provide FTP details i would love to have a look and fix this.
Thanks,
Stiofan
Hi Paul,
I have moved the membership over to your current account.
I have added some CSS to remove the line,
body.geodir-archive #main-content .container:before{ display:none; }
Let me know id there is anything else.
Thanks,
Stiofan
Hi John,
Are you using the Directory Starter theme, if so the changes were in 2.0.0.5, if not please start your own support topic where we can assist further.
Thanks,
Stiofan
I see the post type is not narrowed to GD events, it might be a plugin conflict, i can’t tell without wp-admin and FTP details, please provide those and i’ll get to the bottom of it.
Thanks,
Stiofan
Hi Ray,
I have set the badges for you now, i have not angled the new one, if u want to test it just replace the “+30” with “+3000” temporarily.
Thanks,
Stiofan

April 5, 2019 at 1:37 pm in reply to: Repeated 500 errors, a nightmare day of trying to get the site back etc etc #478574OK here is where we are at…
1. It kept updating on me also everytime i installed GDv1, i installed a few log plugins but none picked them up which means it must be coming from the server/hosting.
2. I have added a line to the plugin that will make our WP Easy Updates plugin make it look for updates in our github repo instead of the WP servers, this i hope will prevent it for now, but if not please contact your host, i am almost positive it is coming from them, it even seems to be a “feature” of their managed hosting.
3. GDv1 is back for now, i would take maintenance mode off and just keep an eye on things.Let us know if it happens again.
Thanks,
Stiofan
